I've read on some forums that sweetfx isn't going along with Geforce so maybe that's my prob Some laptops have more than 1 video adapter, so make sure you are set on the right one, if that's the case.īut as I said np, enb is working so I'll go with enb it will be good :) Disable the extra video adapter if there is more than one and it should switch to the nvidia. See if it lists it along with any other, say an intel video or something. Once at the device manager, check the Display Adapter, see if the nvidia is listed there. Just type device manager in the windows search bar and it should pop up in the list. It should update the drivers for your whole system. The buy screen is just a splash screen, so ignore it.

It's a free driver updater, if the buy now screen pops up, just hit the back arrow when running it. You can also use this to update the system drivers, I'm pretty sure we have to fix your video card issue first for this to work properly. Update the above items and let me know how it goes. Once it detects the video properly then the graphics add-ons should work. See if the fallout4 detects the card after.Ĭheck the games list and see if it's listed in the geforce experience, if so see if you can optimize the game there.

With your laptop, try going to the nvidia site and download the newest geforce experience.įor the video driver, make sure to select custom install and check the box that says do a clean install when you run the driver updater inside the geforce program. Once to extract it to C:\DX then after you have to goto the c drive and the dx folder and run the DXSETUP.exe to install it. With the directx, you have to run it twice. Just use the notes on the mod description for updating the reshade in the reshade and sweetfx. If you check the comments just below this one with Chiiirpa, you can get the link for the update you need. Make sure to use a version 3 reshade to update the reshade and sweetfx, the version 4 gives a black screen. That will correct the crashing issue normally. Have you run the reshade update after installing the initial files?

I've read in other comment that Nvidia Geforce could be the culprit, but I don't know how to prevent it to affect Fallout 4 (and I'd like o keep it for other games so I'd like not to desistall it).
